National team settles for second at Eindhoven

The women’s national water polo team could not add the European Championship to its world trophy and lost 13-10 to Italy in the final held at Eindhoven on Saturday.

With the score at 10-4 the players of coach Giorgos Morfesis started a comeback, but the distance was far too big for them to cover in less than two periods.
